Norwegian expands Swedish network with seven new routes

Norwegian’s ambitious expansion ahead of summer 2026 creates significant opportunities for tour operators and partners packaging trips to Sweden.

With direct access to Sweden from key European and Middle Eastern destinations, these routes are set to boost demand for leisure and business travel, as well as niche segments.

Scandinavia’s second-largest airline is strengthening its presence in the Swedish market by adding seven new direct routes from Swedavia’s two largest airports: Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) and Göteborg Landvetter (GOT).

Five new routes to Stockholm Arlanda:

  • Beirut (BEY) starts 3 April 2026, once weekly
  • Hamburg (HAM) starts 13 May 2026, four times weekly
  • Milan-Malpensa (MXP) starts 13 May 2026, four times weekly
  • Montpellier (MPL) starts 16 May 2026, twice weekly
  • Basel (BSL) starts 22 May 2026, twice weekly

Two new routes to Göteborg Landvetter:

  • Riga (RIX) starts 29 March 2026, twice weekly
  • Tirana (TIA) starts 19 June 2026, once weekly

These additions offer a broad network of flight options for travellers to Sweden and new possibilities for the travel trade to tap into diverse European and Middle Eastern markets.

With convenient connections and attractive destinations, Norwegian’s expanded schedule provides fresh opportunities for packaging city breaks, cultural escapes, and emerging destinations.
