Ahead of the summer season 2026, travelling to and from southern Sweden will become easier than ever for UK visitors.
Starting on 1 April 2026, Ryanair will introduce new direct services to/from London Stansted, giving UK travellers more choice and improved connectivity.
New route and schedule:
- Malmö (MMX) – London Stansted (STN): Twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) from 1 April 2026
This expansion reflects strong demand for international travel and reinforces Malmö Airport’s role as a gateway for southern Sweden. The new route will make it easier for travellers to connect for weekend getaways, longer holidays, and visits to family and friends.
With enhanced access from the UK, tour operators now have greater opportunities to include southern Sweden in their summer 2026 programmes. These developments support broader efforts to position Sweden as a well-connected, sustainable destination for international travellers.
