New SAS direct flight routes from various countries to both Kiruna and Scandinavian Mountain Airport - Sälen/Trysil as well as extra flights to Åre-Östersund and Luleå during winter season 2024/2025.
New SAS-flights from Copenhagen and Paris CDG to Kiruna will increase the possibilities for foreign visitors to reach Swedish Lapland.
The Kastrup - Kiruna direct route suits the most important international visitors' markets very well. This route will start on 12 December 2024 with flights on Thursdays and Sundays. An attractive time table is being promised. This line is seen as a good complement to the already existing Stockholm-Kiruna line.
The Paris CDG - Kiruna direct route will run between 21 December 2024 and 8 March 2025 on Saturdays with a morning flight to Kiruna and an afternoon flight back to Paris.

When it comes to The Scandinavian Mountains Airport in Dalarna, SAS will offer direct flights from both Copenhagen, Ålborg and from London LHR during winter season 2024/2025 as well. The UK flights will be on Sundays between 2 February and 30 March 2025.

This winter we will also see an increased amount of flights from Arlanda to Åre-Östersund in Jämtland/Härjedalen and to Luleå. The same accounts for flights from Copenhagen and Oslo to these destinations.
